[LIT] data records for kids reading

I'm in New Jersey.  I'm trying to remember if they had 3 or 4 writing pieces over and above the open-ended questions attached to the reading sections.  I think one day was 2 reading sections and 2 writing sections.  The kids are dead by the end after almost 2 1/2 hours of testing per day.  The state split the math into 2 days, about an hour per day.

Ok, that's good to know! I am glad it is at least pretty accurate. My
istrict is also using DIBELS and that one is awful. What state are you in?
ur state test is like that as well. But we only have actual writing is only
n 4th, 7th, and 10 th grade.

 graders!:)

 How is the Gates assessment? My district just switched to it, but I haven't
 een it yet. How are the comprehension questions? Do they read passages or
 onger text? What
 are the vocab questions like? Do you think it accurately

  We also use our state scores, the NJASK, once they 
come in. This gives us
