Another thing to do is not do the entire chapter at one time. Just select the parts that she really wants them to focus on. They can always add on more later!

You can give each group the same pages, or do a jigsaw activity, giving
each group a different section to work on, then having them regroup and
teach each other what they learned.
It's definitely worth it!
