[MOSAIC] input on basal reader--:(

avoid Open Court.  It is a lock-step program  that does work for many kids  
who need lots of whole group instruction and direct instruction, but  
mosaic teachers would by and large go crazy changing to fit the "program"  
instead of finding the materials to fit the student.

Just one idea.
