These are some great points. And it's true...many of
the major series are doing this whole LA program deal.
This is why I am emphatic about questioning our
district about required usage. The company can
suggest all they want...I know my students and what
they need. I totally agree w/your statement re:
writing. I might also add that the spelling is not
good as well. BUT I do like the stories and some of
the assessment resources. Honestly, I don't think I'd
be satified w/ANY series I had to use as curriculum
rather than a resource.
