Most  of my advanced students said "parents and other adults"
Most of the regular  students said, "TV, music, movies"
Many said, "Nothing influences  me."
For the first time in all these years, no one said, "God or  religion"

Makes you think, doesn't  it?

I am not even sure if I could make my students understand the  question.  
>From casual conversations with them I would guess their answer  would be BET TV.  
They all seem to watch it and I can't imagine what is  appropriate for an 8 
year old on that channel.
