Hi Michele,
Thanks for your speedy response. Probably more my technology skills than a  
mosaic issue. Be that as it may, I have it now and so appreciate it. For little 
 ones I think this is probably the best developmentally appropriate framework 
to  use.... it is so hands on...  The souvenirs (to borrow an expression from 
4  blocks) really makes sense of the strategies almost intuitively. I love 
that  they plant their seedlings in the garden.Brings beauty and the idea of 
sharing  and hard work all together. We too, have a reading garden and I am eager 
to  share your idea with my first graders. Thank you so much for honoring 
childhood  and still keeping reading and writing rigorous.
