[MOSAIC] Books for 4th gr. Wish List

I love the previously mentioned titles for 4th and
would add:

There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom (Sachar)
Stone Fox (Gardiner...think sp. is wrong)
The Whipping Boy (Fleischmann)
The Tale of Despereaux (diCamillo)
The Kid in the Red Jacket (Park)

The Comprehension Toolkit trade book pack is also
really good...I believe it includes 7 or 8 books, and
is available through Heinemann.  My students
especially liked Lightning, The Mary Celeste and How
Many Days to America.

Anyhow, these are titles that my students REALLY
enjoyed in 4th.  I have no idea if any of them could
be considered essential though.  A read aloud they
also LOVED was The Castle in the Attic (Winthrop) 

It's interesting to see what others are reading at
this level!!
