I am teaching a group of struggling 1st grade students-I want to pull them into a guided reading group and do some explicit teaching.I am curious...does anyone know what types of lessons in the beginning of the year would give me the most bang for my buck? Shared reading? Partner reading a wordless book? Any ideas out there? Dacia
