Hi!
Some ways to do T-T is to read two diff. versions of a fairytale or folktale
and compare them. Also, you can find books that are in a series and compare
them such as the books about Henry and Mudge or Nate the Great. My students
love to find the similarities bet. the texts. I also use picture books. I find
two books that have similar titles, characters, settings, or events. I read them
aloud and we compare them. Then, I make a photocopy of the book's covers and
hang them around my room. In this way, we can easily make more connections as
the months progress and more books are read. The photos are constant reminders!
