[MOSAIC] Making a very simple connection...

Today a student noticed that the main character of the book we are 
reading aloud is named Charlotte (Charlotte's WEB) and the main 
character of the last read-aloud was named Charlotte (The True 
Confessions of Charlotte Doyle)...one of the kids asked if I was only 
going to read aloud novels that have someone named Charlotte as the 
heroine?  They got into this big discussion and posed it as a 
challenge..."Mrs. Preston, Do you think you could find that many books 
with someone named Charlotte as the main character? Could you really 
find that many books? "  I guess I have my work cut out for me!   By the 
way, this did not even occur to me when I chose my 2nd read aloud of the 
school year...
