If your school is into AR, their website has all the available book quizzes
they make.  I am not crazy about it.  I hate the way my kids only get to
reading for points, but at least there they have some of the newer
literature.  And at least it makes the powers that be allow real books in
the kids' hands.

Nettrekker is another wonderful site.  It doesn't teach strategies per se,
but it is a good place for them to do research and you to plan with.  It's a
subscription site, but they will train you through a conference call.
Google Nettrekker and get a trial acct.  There are things about the
standards and lessons that connect directly to your state standards.  You
have to read it.  It's worth it.

Filimentality is another site.  As you find sites you like, you build your
own home page with those sites you want your kids to access.  There are
hundreds of pages other teachers have built.  Mine is a conglomeration of
sites for the kids to explore.  It's a work in progress.
