I'd like some thoughts about teaching the concept of opposites. When should this concept be introduced and what concepts does it support later on? Is it a kindergarten or grade 1 expectation? Does it need to be explicitly taught? When should it be assessed for mastery? Any feedback will be appreciated. Sue
