[MOSAIC] Dyslexia

I had a boy who wrote the first letter in his name backwards, I simply worked out a signal with him to correct it. If I saw his J written backwards I'd point to the letter on his paper, and he'd correct it. (Sometimes that took 3 or more prompts, but eventually he'd get it right. Now that he's in fourth grade, he's finally writing them correctly every time.
   
  I'm wondering if learning cursive writing had anything to do with this?
