Lori,
Looking at your response and reference to the new type of questioning in 
Mosaic 2, The Reading Teacher had an interesting article in December 2005. 
It's called The Princess Storyteller, Clara Clarifier, Quincy Questioner and 
the Wizard: Reciprocal teacher adapted for kindergarten students. This 
article suggests using puppets to help the children. It is aimed for 
kindergarten but I think all early elementary students would enjoy the 
puppets and it is a great visual for them to be reminded what they need to 
be thinking about during the story.
