I, too, am planning to introduce Tanny's lessons in my reading first  
school (with mandatory basal reading lock-step lessons).  I think I'll do  
it as part of of ELD and providing concrete examples for comprehension  
strategies.  I am really looking forward to trying a lot of the lessons.
