[MOSAIC] spelling help

Hi group,
I've never posted and I am pretty new, but here I go with a question for you all....what do you do to teach spelling? I've been wanting to read Katie Wood Ray's stuff, but have been working in the new mosaic and strategies. I'm a third grade teacher. Any help would be great. My district has no "official" spelling adoption, everyone does their own thing. Thanks in advance!
