[MOSAIC] Grade 4

Being primarily an early childhood teacher, my sudden move to 4th grade 
(yesterday) has left me speechless and resourceless.  All summer I have 
been preparing to teach 2nd but my principal moved me to 4th after a 
teacher resigned.  In addition, I will have the same students I had 
last year as a 3rd grade teacher.  unfortunately they will be using the 
same old classroom library.

4th grade seems to be a 'tween grade - not early childhood - not 
middle.   Where do I start?  Can someone explain the essence of the 4th 
grade reader/learner?  Any good websites you use - anything.

If there was a resource book other 4th grade teachers would recommend - 
what would it be?
