 Judith Gould is from the Jacksonville, FL area.? I have attended one of her workshops in the past.? She is very entertaining. She published the 4 square method of planning (altho it wasn't her idea to begin with).? However, unless she has greatly changed and updated--this is too static of an approach-- the writing of the kids was too formulated. This is now discouraged by the scorers for the writing test in the state of Florida.? It does work very well for ELL and ESE students who need the structure.

This sounds really good.  Where is she going to be?  What grade levels does she 
cover?  Is there a link to give more info about this workshop?  I teach second 
grade and I've been looking for a good writing workshop to attend.  We have 
Judith Gould coming in February.  Does anyone know about her?
