Hi everyone! I am new to Listserve.  I am a first grade teacher who works at a school where a few 
of us are trying to use comprehension strategies.  Many of us are wanting to learn more.  We 
realize the support must come from within because many of those in higher up position want to 
go in different directions.  My question is this: how are teachers in your school meeting together 
to discuss ideas?  What works and what doesn't work? We have thought about meeting at a local 
coffee shop once or twice a month.  What format would you use to discuss: book, questions, etc?  
Any suggestions would be most helpful.  Thanks!!!!
