Try taking baby steps. Type one sentence per page. Progress to two sentences per page, etc. Then try stapling 2 pages together "book style," progressing to three pages, etc. until she is reading the whole book.
Make her a bookmark with a long rectangle cut out of the middle. Just enough to see a few words, or a sentence in the book she is reading.
