[MOSAIC] possible homework assignment

I am thinking of making up a homework assignment, where the students have to 
watch a 30 or 60 minute TV show of their choice, list the characters, the 
problem they faced, the steps they took to solve it, and what the solution 
is.  I have been thinking of this for a while and just thought it might be 
another way to reinforce the reading skills we have been doing.  If that 
works out, I might follow it up with another one a little while later about 
characters and changes that character goes through.  What do you think?

Also, we gave the 4th grade released Reading TAKS 2006 a short while ago. We 
all felt like it was quite a lot easier than the 2004.  Those of you who are 
in Texas, what did you think?  We will give the 2004 version probably in 
early March.
