Ginger, thanks so much for posting the set of anchor charts on the listserve tools page (http://www.readinglady.com/mosaic/tools/tools.htm#worksheets, click on photographs and scroll to the last item)
Your chart about reading with Stamina sparked me to hold a discussion with my students about abandoning books too quickly. We developed a similar chart and I posted it in my room last Friday. Yesterday H. came bouncing in the classroom, her eyes lit up, her face flushed. "I love Jules Verne! I did it because I read with stamina, I didn't give up! I thought I hated this, but I made myself keep reading and it is the best book I've ever read!" I wanted to dance!
