[MOSAIC] comprehension in-service

We just finished our comprehension strategy in-service today...and I think it went fairly well. We introduced the reading salad and think bubble lessons, along with some charts suggesting a focus on certain strategies at certain grade levels. One of our reading specialists saw Ellin Keene this summer and incorporated that research, specifically a suggestion of intensive study of one strategy per year. We are going to see how this format fits in with our state standards and district curriculum mapping efforts based on Understanding by Design.
