Bonnie Campbell-Hill has a wonderful new parent handbook for reading and writing. It is in parent friendly writing. The handbooks come in a package of 5 for about $30. We purchased enough so that every family in our school can have one, but we use her developmental literacy continuums. www.heinemann.com
