PeeWee Reese and Jackie Robinson - also great social studies tie-in

I wrote about this book in my book about courage and acceptance.  The
students gain a deep understanding of the era. debrennersmith

I read The Sixth Grade Nickname Game by Gordon Korman to my fifth graders.
They loved it and it has so many characters it would be easy to
compare/contrast.
