I teach ELL students in our middle school 6-8th grade.  On Fridays I read aloud from grade level chapter books.  We just finished the Watson's Go to Birmingham.  My 8th grade this year is all girls.  They would like me to read a book to just their class that is for girls.

Any suggestions for young adult books around 150 pages (we only read aloud on Fridays) for girls?
