Hi Sarah,

The Pocket Bock is a series of integrated primary units bases on 
themes.  It had a lot of chants, poems, literature extensions, games, 
etc.  It integretes everything into cute themes, bears, eggs, 
butterflies, leprechauns, pumpkins, etc.  I still use activities to 
date (although I have gone from first to second to third).  The best 
one that has become a second grade annual project (which I miss so 
much) is the leprechaun trap project.  Kids really enjoy these 
activities.
