[MOSAIC] OOPS PHONICS...

I just sent a phonics post but had not seen my digest that had ALL the other posts and one suggesting we keep the posts to comprehension.  Did not realize what a heated topic this has been on the post.  While I feel strongly about my beliefs in teaching reading skills, I would never want to come off as condescending or getting my feelings hurt by others posting their thoughts/beliefs.  We all know that each child needs something different....and basically what makes anyone a great teacher is realizing just that and accommodating each child.  So I won't post again about phonics!
