I looked earlier in the year for some Interactive Book Sites and found the following... I made a few notations by some of the sites for a variety of reasons. Most are free (otherwise the fee is nominal).

stories are online, not read aloud at all (maybe fun for the more capable readers)

definitely for fluent readers, kids read book online, then try to solve the mystery
