When you sign up for a list, that doesn't exactly put you on the list. It
generates an email that you must reply to. Once you reply to the email you
are then a member of the list.

One sure way to check if you're subscribed is to go to the membership page
and try joining again with your email. http://snipurl.com/tounderstand

The email that is sent to your account will either ask you to reply or tell
you that you are already subscribed. 

We'll send a message to the entire Mosaic list when the "To Understand" chat
starts. This is another way for a person to be on the alert for a first
message from the chat list.

My recommendation to everyone is to save those "reply" emails in a separate
folder so you can always go back and find you logins and passwords.
