[MOSAIC] Primary Comprehension Toolkit

The literacy coordinator at my school is looking into purchasing both the primary and intermediate comprehension toolkits.  I teach 3rd grade and was wondering which toolkit would be better to use.  I've heard the intermediate toolkit is pretty challenging for 3rd graders.   I plan on going through the kit(s) this summer and breaking the lessons into 15 minute mini-lessons so I can use them during Reader's Workshop.  Any input on which toolkit would be more appropriate for 3rd grade would be much appreciated.  If anyone else has used these toolkits to create mini-lessons I would love to get your advice on how you went about it.

Hi all-

I just left the IRA Exhibitor Hall with my newly purchased Primary
Comprehension Toolkit. I have heard some wonderful things about the
toolkit being used in the upper elementary. So far, I am the only one in
my school implementing the strategies based on Harvey and Goudvis ( I
know, I can hear the gasps already! ). But, I heard of this toolkit that
may help my planning. My hopes are that I can pilot it in my classroom and
administration may catch on.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the toolkit? Suggestions or ideas for its
use?
