Thank you so much for all the suggestions so far. You have no idea how
invaluable this information is. I have some of the books mentioned like
the Reading Teacher's Book of Lists and Overcoming Dyslexia. Both great
books! I will be checking prices for all of these as well. I just ordered
When Readers Struggle (Fountas and Pinelli). I am familiar with several
of the authors mentioned from my coursework.
I am teaching in Mississippi at a private school right now. However, I
have no idea of what I will be doing after finishing my degree. My son
was diagnosed with dyslexia 2 years ago so I am leaning to the
intervention and remediation aspects of the degree. I am excited to see
where life leads me in the next few years!
