As I walked out of the classroom,
People crowded around me.
My nervousness was killing me,
Today was the day of the choosing.

YOU’RE ON A-TEAM they yelled,

Happyness? and relief filled me
But I didn’t quit believe it.
Could it be a trick?
Could they be lying?

I ran to see the list,
And check if it were true.
The list also yelled at me, saying I was on A-team
I was happy again.

Would they like me?
Nervousness filled me again,
Practices and games went by.
I liked it there and they liked me,
We had a great season.

First times are special
Its something that shapes
Your personality later on.
My first times were like that.
I was nervous yet excited

I felt the thrill and joy,
Of holding an infant in my hands and
Believing it is my little sister.
She smiles at me and I smile back
She knows I am her brother

I ran to the field and
Kicked a soccer ball,
I realized I loved the sensation,
Of playing the game I love.

As years go by I improve my skill
And move up in level.
I play against people
That are better than me and beat them.

As soccer season came
I went on Ateam
And saw that I really was good
We did our best
In the tournament
And ended with victory
In our hearts

Sweat ran through my nose
My name was about to be called.
“STEVEN SUPERMAN and***********. PLEASE COME TO MAT ONE RIGHT NOW.”
I was deeply annoyed.
IT’S SUPRATMAN NOT SUPERMAN!!!!
But I kept my mouth shut and walked to the mat
My heart was pounding.
It was my last wrestling match.
My eyes were a blur looking at my opponent.
I could feel the mat saying to me “hurry up and finish
This thing!! It really hurts!!”
I looked at my opponent his legs were shivering..
And guess what!!???
So was mine..
The round started.
The first and last thing my opponent did was
Try to perform a head and arm throw.
What am I suppose to do again??
Then I remember a certain someone,
Who I knew would be pretty upset if I lose.
So I tugged my opponents stomach,
and threw him to the ground.
I pushed him hard to pin him
But his body was too tough.
I had to think of something
FAST.
The one thought that saved me was
the thought of my teammate’s,
Screaming in pain when I did a move I enjoy the most.
And that’s what I did.
I let him back on his stomach again,
He was relaxed again when I did it
I pulled his right arm back,
Stick my arm between his arm.
Knelt to the side,
And quickly walk around his head.
I smiled
“aaaaauuuuggghhhh”
I could hear him
Begging for mercy.
I finally understood why
I wanted to make him feel in pain.
He gets on my nerves saying
“please be careful with my eyes..,
And my back also really hurt” and so on.
I smiled a sinister smile,
And when I was sitting on him
My team captain was looking at me
I gave a little peace sign at him. Hehe.
At the end when I was done, captain said to me
“Don’t show off in the end!!! It hurts the
Opponent’s feelings!!” all I could say with a smile is
“that’s his problem”

I close my eyes
and breath slowly.
What happens to me when that happens?
Simple
I go into another world.
in my world when I close my eyes
I see a cottage,
right by a big lake.
In the middle of mountains,
Where pine trees grow higher then a sakura tree.
Where squirrels rush through and find nuts,
where foxes hunt for rabbit.
This life is peaceful.
Nothing bad happens.
I remember my life peaceful
like my imaginary world.
The winds of change haven’t blown yet.
My life was good.
Full of peace.
With the blue Sky.

A strong storm rush through the mountain.
Destroying all the trees,
Wiping out any living things in its way.
The lake flooded everywhere.
The cottage was torn into pieces.
As I had my eyes closed
I could remember the terrible things that happened.
Like my grandfather’s death.
I remember my grandfather as an old tree
Not far from the cottage.
That old tree was the first to be torn down.
Then came the day when a good friend of mine left.
Another tree was torn down.
Soon with all the frustration in my head as I remember
my own cottage was destroyed.
Soon the storm left the mountains.
The flood was soaked away,
And was taken back to the lake.
Trees started to grow again.
Rabbits, squirrels, foxes, they all returned.
the cottage was rebuilt,
with a help from a construction worker.
I remember this construction worker very well.
Through my hard times she helped me.
She was a guidance counsellor
Who would always be there when I needed it.
This construction worker was rebuilt the little cottage.
She fed the foxes
Planted new trees.
She really was a good friend.
She’s not close to where I am right now.
She is in another country.
But when I am in any trouble

My dad is like a lion
Like a lion, head of the pride.
My dad leads us through good and bad times.
He leads our family to success.
He makes us do chores against our will,
And while we do that, he goes on his computer.
The only problem
is that the lion is losing his mane

My mom is like an agenda,
Keeping everything organized and planned.
She’s like a female lion,
Side by side with the head lion.
She likes to pull pranks,
Like hiding and yelling BOO at me.
She is the perfect model
For a person who pull pranks on her children.

My brother is like a grown lion,
following behind the head of the lion.
He has been a brother to me
for a long time,
but in an advantage
when my parents isn’t looking
he is not just the lion,
but a pesky mosquito who annoys me.
He is also known as a nerd.
Because of how he dress.
But he’s all right.
He helps me understand math.
You See? I’m stuck!!!

Staying strong when things don’t go the way we plan.

Never looking back.

Staying faithful to what you believe in.

Never letting go of that dream

You have stuck in your soul, heart and mind.

Remembering Him who brought you here.

The grand song plays, as if it was bells bells pf joy. Quiet, yet strong.

I look out into that wild place,

The crazy place we live in,

All covered in darkness.

But if you look close enough: lights!

These little lights represent the faith all Christians share.

Little by little they spread.

One more arrives every second.

Welcomed with fellowship.

I am on a journey called the Christian faith.

 SUMMER
The singing of birds,
Fish swim in the shaded pool,
Escaping the heat.

SPRING
The sun-dappled glade,
A single deer prances through,
Pauses, and bounds off.

FALL
Crisp, refreshing air,
The pungent smell of dead leaves
The trees sigh in the wind.

WINTER
A harsh icy wind
Rips through the glistening wood,
Howling like a wolf.
