Peace Love Happiness By: Delanie

Filed under: Uncategorized — cpmfarnum @ 2:22 pm

Peace, it’s as precious as air

People have been looking for it forever

Even people who don’t give a care

It brings all kind of people together

Love, it can be as simple as a baby’s smile

Or complicated and sometimes silly

It can last forever or stay a while

It sometimes work’s like magic and can be a little willie

Happiness, is a state of mind

For others it’s a feeling

Sometimes as first it is hard to find

But once you have found it, it is so appealing

Just Imagine by Sydney

Just imagine that the world was set right,

peace and no reason to fight.

Just imagine that there was a solution,

a cure to cancer and even pollution.

Just imagine that there was no war,

killing and violence all no more.

Just imagine the homeless had a place to live,

poverty and hunger is the reason to give.

Just imagine that the world was set right,

peace and no reason to fight.

Just imagine…

It Slipped by Mitchell

We were having a water balloon fight

outside in the blazing heat.

The air was a hot oven on Christmas.

We were in my neighbor’s yard,

and the other team was across the street.

We loaded the wet water ballon into the soft pouch.

I laid down on the pavement

pulling back the rubber cords.

My team members held the other strings

as high as they could in the air.

I let go, launching the water balloon

into the air

and watched it sail like a ship in the ocean.

We stood glaring at the blob in the sky

and watching it swoop down like a bird after it’s prey.

It hit their window with a thud.

The thud was so loud that we could hear it

from the other side of the street.

The mom of the house came out of the house

like an angry lion.

She asked us what happened and we said,”it slipped.”

We said our apologies and ended the war.

Im Sorry!!by Nick

I am sorry I threw a snowball

and hit you in the face

I meant to throw it at my sister

but not in that particular place.

I know the ice and snow was really hard

it was like falling face first in the yard.

I know that saying sorry doesn’t always work

but sometimes I can be a mean, old jerk.

Next time I throw a snowball I’ll make it nice and fluffy

so when it hurts your face you won’t get all puffy!!

Peter Griffin Limerick by Hayden

Peter Griffin is a big hoot

He can always let out a toot

he spills coffee in bed

or falls on his head

and usually gets the boot.

Peter Griffin is not to bright

His clothes are far out of sight

He has two messy kids

Who drink with no lids

And he has never been polite.

Peter Griffin loves the word bum

When he walks he walks he likes to chew gum

He has one funny dog

Who thinks that he is a god

And the cops always call him a scum.

This is Just to Say by Maddy M.

This is just to say

that I may have

tripped you in class.

And you were probably embarrassed

and very much in pain.

But next time I promise

I’ll make sure

to do it on purpose.

Dessert before dinner

Filed under: Uncategorized — cpmfarnum @ 1:48 pm

This is just to say that i ate dessert before dinner

With my friends Danielle, Jordan, and Annie

We stuffed our faces with cookies and cake

not realizing the trouble it would make.

When we were finally full

after eating our candy apples

 down to its core

we knew we couldn’t eat dinner any more

we are sorry we had the sweets

it was bad to eat dessert before dinner

but we had to eat that delicous treat.

Jesus Our Savior by Kellie G

For us, Jesus died on the cross,

We still mourn for his loss.

Loving eyes twinkling at you,

His angels are his crew.

He washed others’ feet,

He is also very neat.

Jesus is calm as a dove,

This shows compassionate love.

While we bow on our hands and knees,

Since he died on the cross he is now free.

I will cherish that moment until I die,

This love between us never lies.

Lunch Time by Ryan

Lunch time, lunch time. Time to feast.

Some kids eat like a beast.

Chewing on their apples.

Drinking their snapples.

Getting up.

To throw away their cups.

Fifteen minutes you get to eat.

Then thirty minutes to use your feet.

At one thirty back to class.

Coming in as a mass.

Carpool by Jake

Right when I get in the car

I know that I’m in trouble

I’d rather walk to school

Than sit in this car

The only good part is

Hearing Caleb say

“HI BOYS”,

And when I answer him

All that I hear is

“Shut-up”,

From his sister, Megan

And when I defend him

She takes my backpack

And tears up my last test

Until her mom says

“Stop That”,

But by then

We have pulled into school

And we get out of that car

At least we have another day until it happens again
