The Game
I form a huddle
right off the field.
Our coaches
come to give
us the play.
I see the field,
the other team,
and the stands.
My coach yells
“GET YOU HEAD
IN THE GAME!“
I turn back towards
the huddle to hear
the rest of the game.
I hear them all screaming
“YEAH!” “LETS CRUSH UM!”
So I join in.
I head toward the field all
All convinced that we
are going to win this game.
The first quarter our team
is winning 14 to zero. I Hustle
off the field wishing
I could get right back in.
When I go back in, in the second
quarter for someone
that got hurt we are losing by 14
and so we finish the inning losing.
in the third quarter I make someone
fumble the ball and someone on our
team got the ball for a touch down.
We finally hit the fourth quarter!
We all are acing so terrible
that it felt like if we moved we would
fall apart.
We get that ball at our own 42.
the odds look agents us.
so we make a final throw
to Tannar and he makes it in!
We head of the field feeling
proud that we tried out best,
and that we survived the game.
We take a kneel right off the field
to say our team faze
“ONE UNIT ONE TEAM!”
