In My Dogs Eyes
When I look in my dog’s eyes,
I see wisdom of six years
of hunting.
When I walk away from him,
after I pet him, he looks at
me with blue puppy brown eyes.
When it’s time to let him
outside, there is a special
sparkle in them.
When I get mad and yell,
I see fear in them,
even if I’m not mad
at him.
When he sees another dog
I don’t have to look to tell
they are clouded with aggression.
In my dog’s eyes there are lots
of things.

I think you wrote your poem about a good topic. I like how you said whenever you yell, you see fear in his big brown eyes.

I was a little confused at the part when you said the color, “blue puppy brown eyes.”
It said blue, and brown. But otherwise, I loved it!

Great job writing this poem. You used great words to describe every look and feeling that you dog gives to you. I can also relate to your poem, i have 2 dogs. The only thing i would suggest is use better words to back up your descriptions, great job though.
