Summer Days

As I walk out the door,
I smell the summer air.

Mulberry essence fills the air,
with delight.

As I walk down the hill,
I feel the grass poke-up
between my toes.

As the rain settles in,
I know
it’s goingto be
a perfect day.

I like the part about the grass…I hate shoes. I run on gravel! On a hot day, the grass is always cold so…good job!

I like summer since we had a horrible winter I just can’t wait, but if the winter was really bad I wont be surprised if we have a really bad summer too.

What I like the best about it is the summer air. That is my favorite summer smell. Nice poem!
