Graceful Animal
May 21st, 2009
I run through the woods
clearing anything in my way
my head is on some people’s walls
and my fur on some people’s floors
I blend with the trees
when I am born I have white spots
when born I give off no scent
on my head are antlers
with me you can make a big venison steak

Dear Bow Hunter,
Your poem “Graceful Animal” was very goo,d but could have used more punctuation, liek commas, to accentuate pauses. The only other thing the details that you give in the poem- they sort of tell the reader exactly what the animal is. But the way you described the deer was very creative. I for one did not know they didn’t give off a scent as fawns!
