Papa By Sarah

May 24th, 2010 by Ms. Wasserman

That night before was very fun

The  thinking that morning

I will never hear his voice again

Put me in so much pain

 Papa

My thoughts shatter to find out he’s gone

but I always got to know he’s my Guardian Angel

At the time I’m in shock

I don’t know what to do

Papa

When you say Papa

I feel weird

A strange feeling inside

Whenever I go into his room or his house

Everything seems dulls

Papa

I miss the small of cigarettes in the morning

And when I say, “Papaaa! Stop smoking!”

He’ll say, “I will…tomorrow.”

Then he wouldn’t

Papa

I always know I will be with him again, someday

My dear grandfather

Papa

About Our Class

April 20th, 2010 by Ms. Wasserman

When our class is not writing poetry, we are known as The Writing Royalty. There are 15 girls and 8 boys in our class. We are tall, short, big and small; in our class everyone’s different, but one thing we all have in common is that we all love poetry! We are very good at knowing what similes, alliteration, metaphors and onomatopoeia is. We are very creative, talkative and LOVE figurative language! We like to play video games and watch TV.

The kids in our class play a lot of sports like hockey, baseball, soccer, boxing, hockey, softball, tae-kwan-do, lacrosse, and basketball. We also have some talented dancers, painters, drummers, cheerleaders, actors, guitarists, trumpet, violin and cello players. We have creative writers  and poets in our class, and believe it or not there is a kid in our class, Jarod, who designs t-shirts and won the MWRA poster contest! We like to play outside and are fun to be around. I think if we put our mind to it, we can acheive anything as a whole or personally. I truly believe, we can all be great!

We all think we have an awesome English teacher, Mrs. Boos. We also have Ms. Wasserman that helps us out. Our class rocks!
