This is the second year that my multiage class will be participating in the Literacy Workshop Poetry Slam. My students are in 6th through 8th grade and are very creative thinkers and writers. They will be writing poems as part of their integrative units of study, as well as through free writing. We look forward to the increased number of participants this year and the wide variety of poetry that will be shared. Let’s get started. Read, write, and think poetry!
