Ode to Friends

We text, we call
we even I.M. too
its only been 30 minutes
since the last time I saw them
there’s just too much
too much more to tell them
Like my friends
crazy, weird and hyper too
thats what makes us friends
best friends
Oh the things we do
but thats all right
we may be crazy
but thats just us
we get called sisters
my friends are
my whole life
without them
I would die
a day without seeing them
would be like a baby never waking
with out there sippy cup again
were called best friends
I may be a klutz
and act blonde to
but I know my friends will love me
because the act like that too
were best friends
Forever
and that’s no lie
Friends are my life
and forever will be
together
until the end of time!

I loved your poem “Ode to Friends” because,
it reminds me so much of my friends and how we love to be together. i act blond too “somethimes” even thought I have brown hair. Great job there is alot of emotinon in this!!!

I thought your poem, “Ode to Friends” was very good. Your poem created a picture in my head of a crazy pair of friends. I also enjoyed your similes and your word choice. I thought your poem also flowed very well. I especially liked this part,

Dear minniemouse,
I thought your poem, “Ode To Friends” was very neat. Your word choice was excellent, and I really enjoyed the flow of the poem. I especially enjoyed where you said:
“my friends are

I would die”
